This story is an interesting article because the story of Steven Lawrence's death has been in the public eye for so long that generations have been bought up knowing the injustice of the case. It relates to the public because people may have felt unsafe because of racism in the police force and will now feel safer because this old issue has been sorted. Decent people will also feel for the parents of Steven because of all the injustice they have had to fight in order for the police to react in a unbiased and non racist way.
